Life insurance is one of the most secure and lowest risk investments available. Life insurance can provide much needed resources to replace the loss of a loved one and their income. Life insurance can also be used much like a bank on which money can be withdrawn or borrowed. Life insurance can also provide additional income to pay for in home, assisted living, or nursing home care when paired with riders.

Term Life Insurance: Term policies are issued for a set period of time and expire at the end of the contracted term. For example, a young father or mother may want to obtain a term life policy for 20 or more years to cover the loss of their life and provide for a spouse and children, send the children to college, etc. Term life policies generally have lower monthly premium payments than whole life policies.

Whole Life Insurance: Whole life policies, while having a death benefit, also accumulate value as a portion of the premium payment is stored in the policy. A policy holder may withdraw money from the policy or borrow money against the accumulated value of the policy.

Hybrid Policies: Life Insurance with Long-Term Care Riders: This can be a great way to accomplish both having a life insurance policy that has death beneficiaries and also using the accumulated value of the policy to multiply and also pay for a long-term care event. It is important to speak to a benefits specialist to determine what policy or combination of policies may be right for you and your family. Schedule your FREE consult today.
